The Untold Stories exhibition by Peter Lindbergh in the Port of A Coruña

Containers provided by Marítima Consiflet in Peter Lindbergh’s Untold Stories exhibition

Peter Lindbergh, the Polish photographer who portrayed the soul of women such as Tina Turner, Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawforfd, … shows his posthumous exhibition at the Battery Dock, in the Port of A Coruña.

For the exhibition, over 2,000 m2, an old TMGA – Terminales Marítimos de Galicia warehouse, four old Cementos del Cantábrico silos and 40 containers provided by Marítima Consiflet were used.

Peter Lindbergh passed away suddenly in September 2019, at the age of 74, when he was preparing this exhibition, a retrospective of four decades of his career. He never saw her and now, two years later, Untold Stories (untold stories) dock at the Port of A Coruña with more than 150 black and white images.

The exhibition comes to the Inditex headquarters city by the hand of Marta Ortega, Lindbergh’s friend and who commissioned her wedding photographic report in 2018, the year in which the Polish artist visited A Coruña and fell in love with its port atmosphere that reminded him of to the Ruhr area where he grew up.

The show, which opened in Düsseldorf in 2020, has traveled through Germany and Italy. Now Untold Stories arrives at the Port of A Coruña.

It can be visited free of charge until February 28, 2022.
